Job Description Summary:

A warehouse stockman/helper ensures that incoming items are received according to the company's protocols, and that packages are prepared for shipping purposes. He is also responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is kept orderly and clean and that materials in a warehouse are adequately secured. Also, work as over-all WAREHOUSE custodians. Responsible for company product & property stocking activity, assisted in inventory activity, assisting in loading and unloading the truck including suppliers' items, also accountable to ensure that all arrived items were stored in assigned designated bin location with updated assigned bin cards record transaction. Assist in preparation of DR picking and bincards updating under strict supervision and guidance by the Warehouse OIC. Responsible for maintaining 5S activity in all warehouse items such as stock receiving, stocking & issuances.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes warehouse stock items, observes correct put away in accordance to assigned bin location and secures updated bin cards.
  • Responsible to prepare picking of items based on each DR description, sizes, and quantity, and ensuring that all items picked are recorded on its assigned bin cards.
  • Reports any found discrepancies re: receiving of items & inventories.
  • Assist in preparing DR, ensure that all pick items are based on DR details, avoid wrong picking re: size, description & quantity.
  • Communicates and cooperates with warehouse officer and coworkers.
  • Assist in maintaining preventively all warehouse equipment.
  • Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, company rules, and regulations.
  • Has good numeric skills along with visual accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ables to handle and count large volumes of items.
  • Makes sure that packaged items are properly and securely placed and according to DR upon checking and loading to the truck.
  • Assists the driver with loading and unloading the truck, delivers equipment or products to customers and clients, helps drivers navigate to each destination on schedule, and records delivery logs.
  • Responsible for checking all returned items from deliveries, records in bin cards once returned items are processed in the system.
  • Reports uncooperative helpers and drivers, especially those wasting time to gain overtime.
  • Responsible for complying other instructions given by the Whse OIC/OM.

Job Qualification

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any course.
  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory.
  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.
  • Preferably living nearby BOCAUE.
