Security & Network Specialist

The Security & Network Specialist will not only handle technical support but also play a key role in maintaining secure and reliable network systems. With the ongoing ETP deployments and upcoming SAP implementation, it's important to strengthen the Tech Support team to support daily operations and project rollouts. These systems require support in areas like system monitoring, batch processing, network security, and user access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist on maintaining & securing network systems (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, etc.)
  • Monitor network traffic for unusual activity or potential threats
  • Conduct regular security check
  • Assist Network Administrator in managing firewalls and network configuration
  • Troubleshoot network and security issues
  • Collaborate with IT and business units on security and infrastructure initiatives

Additional Technical Support Responsibilities:

· Install software and configure system applications (JDA, EIS, Loyalty, RCCBI, Office 365 Apps)

  • Perform system updates and maintenance
  • Monitor and manage batch processing (e.g., JDA End of Day, Sales Processing)
  • Generate and distribute sales reports via SMS to top management
  • Monitor ETL processes and GoAnywhere jobs
  • Perform regular backup tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, annual)
  • Assist in user account management (creation, disabling)
  • Conduct system housekeeping, cleanups, and health checks
  • Maintain and safeguard backup media (tapes, disks)
  • Respond to service desk tickets and support calls
  • Monitor datacenter environment and alerts
