Work Arrangement: Onsite, Dayshift

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with co-purchasers the evaluation of information/specification of items requested;
  • Negotiates with suppliers regarding accreditation requirements, price quotations, terms of payment and payment processing of goods purchased;
  • Process Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Supplier, negotiate price, LT and MOQ, do some comparison and analysis, and submit for approval, as required;
  • Check, analyze and resolve invoice queries with Account Payables (AP) and Supplier;
  • Procure the necessary requested materials and supplies with the best quality at the lowest possible cost;
  • Solicit written and telephone quotations, tabulate bids, expedite deliveries, and look for new sources of supply;
  • Develop new and maintain a set of reliable dependable business partners through proper vendor qualifying and regular vendor performance evaluation to have a more competitive source of goods and services to benefit the operation;
  • Provide administrative support to ensure and maintain the required supply of material by close coordination with the Warehouse Team, Suppliers, and Internal Customers;
  • Works with internal clients to clarify purchase requests, source for quotes, get approval, issue PO, get PO confirmation, follow up on delivery, expedite to meet delivery timeline; and,
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
