  • Approves any 4M changes. Establishes inspection procedure for each new item to be fabricated, indicating areas to be examined, measuring devices to be used, and maximum and minimum acceptable dimensions.
  • Inspects quality procedures following first-run production of new item, using gauges and calibrated equipment's, and advises maintenance of type of defects noted and need for machine adjustment.
  • Repeats inspection procedure until product meets quality standards and specifications are attained. Conducts internal audit when necessary.
  • Notifies suppliers and subcontractors of reasons for rejection of materials and parts received.
  • Distributes sketch and procedure to engineering, production control, and inspection work stations.
  • Confers with customer representative to resolve complaints.
  • Ensures quality issues are identified and corrected through Production and warranty process.
  • Prepares and summarizes Monthly Performance Report submitted by the Quality Controller
  • Checks the completion and quality of units prior to signing of line leader's endorsement report form.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or any engineering course.

  2. At least three (3) years of working experience in supervisory function in quality control capacity in manufacturing operations.

  3. Proficient in computer applications (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access).

  4. Requires strong planning, numerical, problem solving skills.

Familiar in using basic measuring devices such as steel rule and Vernier caliper, and in using the Metric System.

  1. Willing to assigned at Maguyam, Silang, Cavite.
