he Technical Staff: Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning, maintenance, and repair of all facility systems, production equipment, and infrastructure. This role is crucial for maximizing operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance (PM) routines on all critical equipment and building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing, fire suppression).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, multimeters, and specialized diagnostic tools.
  • Perform necessary repairs, adjustments, and component replacements on faulty equipment to restore full functionality swiftly.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of the facility grounds and infrastructure to identify and address potential maintenance issues before they become major failures.

Facility & Infrastructure Support

  • Install and move machinery, equipment, or facility components as required for new setups, upgrades, or operational changes.
  • Handle minor facility repairs, including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and lighting fixture replacement.
  • Assist in the setup and monitoring of utility systems (e.g., water, air, power) to ensure efficient usage and regulatory compliance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls during and occasionally outside of scheduled shifts.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Accurately document all maintenance work, time spent, parts used, and system performance details in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Manage and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies, initiating purchase requests as needed.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and all local health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Safety) on troubleshooting complex issues and process improvement projects.
