About This Role
Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a
Data Visualization Specialist
who will responsible for transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable insights through visually appealing and user-friendly reports and dashboards. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, a strong sense of design principles, and the ability to present data in ways that help stakeholders make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data visualization tools and comfortable working collaboratively with data analysts, data engineers, and business users.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Work closely with data teams to understand data sources, business requirements, and the objectives of analytics initiatives.
• Translate raw data into meaningful insights through charts, graphs, and other visual storytelling methods.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine visual designs, and improve dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability by validating results and conducting regular quality checks.
• Explore new data visualization tools and techniques to enhance the user experience and drive innovation.
• Present insights and findings to technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating key data insights and recommendations.
• Document best practices and standards to ensure a consistent visual language and adherence to brand guidelines.

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years experience in designing data visualizations and dashboards with tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design principles and best practices in data visualization (layout, color, typography, etc.).
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.

Work Environment

• This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 2 days per week.
