Scope & Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Accounting Operations

• Maintain a robust system of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the companys financial records.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting.
• Monitor and analyze budget variances and report significant issues to management.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.

Cash Management

• Monitor and manage the companys cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee cash management and treasury functions, including banking relationships and investments.

Strategic Financial Planning

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and business plans.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure the accounting team is aligned with the companys goals and objectives.

Special Projects

• Lead special projects and initiatives, such as system implementations and process redesigns.
• Provide financial expertise and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other business development activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.

• Willingness to occasionally travel for meetings or site visits as required.
