About the Role:

We are hiring a hands-on Email Marketing Specialist to manage both strategy and execution in Klaviyo for ecommerce/CPG brands. This role requires a proactive professional who can immediately optimize email performance, create on-brand designs, build automated flows, manage campaigns, and drive revenue growth.

This is a full-time, 100% remote position. Candidates must be available to overlap with U.S. working hours and meet weekly reporting requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Performance

  • Plan, execute, and optimize all email & SMS campaigns in Klaviyo.

  • Develop a comprehensive email/SMS strategy, including:

  • Weekly campaigns

  • Automated flows
  • Segmentation
  • A/B testing strategy
  • Deliverability best practices
  • Maintain and grow revenue from email/SMS, tracking benchmarks.

Creative & Design

  • Design on-brand email creatives, including graphics, layouts, product callouts, and CTAs.
  • Write compelling copy for supplement and ecommerce audiences (storytelling, education, promotions).
  • Ensure designs are consistent and readable across desktop and mobile.

Flow & Automation Buildout

  • Build and optimize key flows:

  • Welcome Flow

  • Abandoned Cart
  • Browse Abandonment
  • Post-Purchase (first-time → repeat → VIP)
  • Sunset/Winback
  • Supplement education sequences
  • Monitor flow performance and iterate for higher conversions.

Technical & Analytical

  • Manage segmentation, frequency caps, deliverability, and list hygiene.
  • Track KPIs: revenue per email, campaign performance, flow revenue, CTR, open rates, subscriber growth.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and provide weekly recommendations.

Brand Knowledge & Execution

  • Understand brand positioning, audience, product benefits, and compliance.
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with brand voice, supplement regulations, and ecommerce best practices.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of Klaviyo experience for ecommerce/CPG brands.
  • Proven results managing flows, campaigns, and revenue.
  • Portfolio with examples of Klaviyo flows and campaigns (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with strategy, creative execution, and copywriting.
  • Skilled in Canva, Figma, or similar design tools.
  • Strong understanding of DTC ecommerce fundamentals and customer lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively.
  • Willing to work overlapping U.S. hours and meet weekly check-ins.
  • Familiar with benchmarks (welcome flow revenue %, abandoned cart %, etc.).

Preferred:

  • Experience with U.S.-based supplement brands.
  • Knowledge of conversion-driven design and A/B testing frameworks.
  • SMS marketing experience in Klaviyo.
  • List growth strategies: landing pages, lead magnets, behavioral triggers.

Success Metrics:

  • Clean account structure and optimized segments.
  • On-brand, high-quality designs.
  • Properly configured, high-performing flows.
  • Consistent weekly campaign execution.
  • Measurable lift in email/SMS revenue within 60 days.
  • Proactive strategy, ownership, and reporting—no hand-holding required.
