About the role

ASIAN FILIPINO (ASFIL) ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION CO.' is seeking an experienced Geodetic Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila. As a Geodetic Engineer, you will be responsible for surveying and mapping land surfaces, measuring and analyzing spatial data, and providing technical support for a variety of construction and engineering projects. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting field surveys to collect data on land features, elevations, and boundaries
  2. Analyzing survey data and creating detailed maps, plans, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  3. Providing technical support and guidance to project teams on the interpretation and application of survey data
  4. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to coordinate survey activities and integrate survey data into project plans
  6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all survey activities and findings

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering or a related field
  2. At least 10 years of experience as a Geodetic Engineer, registered Licensed Geodetic Engineer preferably in the construction or engineering industry
  3. Expertise in the use of surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
  4. Proficiency in the use of CAD software, GIS software, and other geospatial technologies
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply technical data
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  7. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to surveying and mapping
