We're looking for a
Graduate Electrical Engineer
to join our Energy team in the Philippines and help us reimagine engineering for the future.

In this position, you will join our
Energy
team, where you will play an integral part in a highly skilled group that 'brings ideas to life' for our clients across power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. As a Graduate Engineer in Power Systems, you will be mentored by highly qualified professionals, contribute to transformative renewable energy and power projects, and grow your expertise in delivering sustainable solutions for a better future.

As a
Graduate Engineer in Power Systems
, you will:

• Support in the design, modelling, and analysis of power transmission and distribution networks.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, concept designs, and detailed designs for renewable energy and high-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Assist in conducting load flow, short-circuit, protection, and stability studies using relevant software tools.
• Help prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Work alongside senior engineers in liaising with clients, equipment vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply knowledge of electrical physics — including magnetism, electromagnetics, and transmission line behaviour — to real-world engineering problems.
• Learn and apply Aurecon's quality assurance processes to ensure technical accuracy of deliverables.
• Participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous learning within the team.
• Contribute to Aurecon's commitment to

  in every project.

Experience & Expertise (Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field with strong focus on
  electrical physics, magnetism, power transmission, and HV systems
  ).
• Strong passion for power systems, renewable energy, and transmission/distribution networks.
• Strong academic grounding in the physics of electricity (e.g., electromagnetics, circuits, transmission lines, transformers).
• Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience & Expertise (Good to Have)

• Graduate of a university program with specialization in
  power systems or transmission lines
  .
• Internship, thesis, or project experience in renewable energy, HV systems, or transmission/distribution design.
• Exposure to civil or structural aspects of transmission projects (e.g., foundations, line routing) with a strong interest in electrical engineering (benchmark: candidates like Jenina).
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks or renewable integration studies.
• Familiarity with power system simulation tools such as PSCAD and PSSE
• Proficiency with Python scripting and automation
