QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Preferred to have a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance

  • Min 8 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role

You are the Finance Director (FD) of the Odd Group
(Oddefy, Prodd and Odd Cafe)
.
As the Finance Director, you will hold a pivotal executive leadership position and will serve as the principal financial executive and a key strategic partner to the CEO and the Founder & Chairman, providing comprehensive strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for all financial activities across the entire Odd Group organization.

A critical member of the Management Committee, you will shape the financial health and future direction of the Odd Group, ensuring sustainable growth and maximizing shareholder value through sound financial management and strategic foresight. Your expertise will be essential in navigating complex financial landscapes and providing the Mancomm team with the financial intelligence needed to achieve the company's overarching business objectives.

You will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and analysis, managing corporate finance, accounting, investments, risk management, and global reporting standards. This role plays a critical part in driving strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and compliance with financial regulations. You will also support and shape overall business growth and strategy, ensuring financial transparency, corporate governance across all subsidiaries and operations of the Odd Group, and providing insights that influence the company's financial health and long-term sustainability.

WHAT YOU DO

Your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of long-term financial strategies, annual budgets, business modeling, variance analyses, and forecasting.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement the group's financial strategy, aligning it with corporate goals and shareholder expectations.
  • Offer financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and the Founder and Chairman for long-term strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Partner with the CEO and the Founder and Chairman to define pricing strategies, profit margins, funding, and investment decisions that support business competitiveness.
  • Provide strategic counsel on market expansion, agency acquisitions, and integrations.
  • Lead financial planning for multi-brand portfolios, campaign cycles, and client contract models (retainer, project-based, or performance-based).
  • Drive and support financial transformation initiatives, including digital finance integration, AI-driven finance tools, and process automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insights within the finance function.

Financial Management Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local, GAAP, and industry-specific accounting standards related to revenue recognition and media buying.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on client revenue pipelines, utilization rates, and campaign profitability
  • Oversee cost allocation and inter-company transactions with the group.
  • Present quarterly and annual financial reports to the Board and Management, highlighting financial performance and discipline.
  • Implement robust internal controls, audit systems, and performance measurement tools.
  • Oversee preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Conduct trend analysis and financial modeling to guide business units in decision-making.
  • Monitor financial KPIs and develop initiatives for performance improvement.

Revenue and Client Finance Management

  • Optimize client billing cycles, accelerate accounts receivable collection, and ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards. Implement automated systems for invoicing and payment processing to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Establish robust internal controls for tracking media expenditure, managing vendor settlements, and overseeing client fund management. This includes developing clear policies and procedures to ensure transparency, prevent fraud, and mitigate financial exposure for the group. Regular audits and reconciliations will be conducted to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate closely with account and legal teams to negotiate favorable client contract terms. This includes meticulously reviewing financial clauses, defining clear payment milestones, and establishing robust cancellation and renewal policies to protect the company's interests and optimize profitability.
  • Implement advanced profitability analysis tools and methodologies to meticulously monitor project margins, identify areas for cost optimization, and assess the financial viability of new business opportunities. Utilize these insights to support strategic decision-making and foster sustainable business growth.

Treasury and Capital Management

  • Manage group cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational and expansion needs.
  • Manage all treasury functions, including banking relationships, foreign exchange, and investment management to ensure adequate working capital for campaign execution and production needs.
  • Formulate strategies for capital structure optimization, and debt management.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks across the group, including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks related to client credit, project cancellations, and market volatility.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax laws, data privacy, corporate governance standards, and financial governance standards and regulations in line with media industry regulations.
  • Establish, develop, maintain and implement effective internal control systems to safeguard assets, financial integrity, prevent fraud, promote transparency, and ensure accountability within all finance-related activities.
  • Collaborate and work with management to monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure that program and organizational risks are minimized through effective controls and checks.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead investigations to detect and address potential financial discrepancies or fraud.
  • Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
  • Collaborate with auditors to maintain transparency and adherence to regulatory standards.

Business Partnering and Operations

  • Partner with business unit leaders to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and cost management initiatives.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, procurement financial analysis, and cost-optimization projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Accounts
    leaders to improve pricing models, cost efficiency, and profit margins.
  • Champion sustainable practices and financial reporting in line with brand commitments.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies communicating financial performance, strategies, and outlook effectively to these stakeholders.

Leadership and Organizational Development
