We are looking for who is responsible for supporting the financial operations, planning, and strategic initiatives within the finance department. This role involves managing the successful delivery of the Company's financial services, ensuring accurate financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and analysis. The Associate Director will work closely with senior management to provide data-driven insights, improve financial services performance, and support organizational growth and efficiency.

Job Description:

A. Financial Strategy and Planning

  • Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.

B. Taxation Strategy and Planning Services

  • Develop for the clients, and implement sound taxation plans
  • Assist the clients in ensuring compliance with regulatory and taxation laws both domestic and international

C. Financial Services Business Development

  • Head the engagement teams in spearheading the assistance and delivery of the financial services to the clients ○ Develop the sales plan and leads generation of potential clients
  • Consolidate the reports of finance, audit, tax team to ensure that the Company meets the Service Level Agreements with the clients
  • Manage the teams internally and handle clients externally
  • Handle client negotiations, department manpower training, development and coaching

D. Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations. E. Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Track variances, analyze financial performance, and recommend adjustments to meet targets.

F. Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members to support professional growth and skill development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, promoting efficient and effective practices.

G. Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement internal control systems to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.

H. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to drive financial initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
  • Act as a financial liaison, providing advice and insights to senior management and department leaders.

I. Risk Management

  • Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support initiatives to strengthen the company's financial position and minimize risk exposure.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate of any course, preferably with a background in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields.
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate financial management, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good leadership and team development

Preferred qualifications:

  • A Certified Public Accountant
