The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of construction materials—especially soil, aggregates, and related supplies—across multiple project sites. This role is critical in supporting road and expressway development projects by maintaining accurate inventory, supervising warehouse personnel, and ensuring timely coordination with the logistics and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Monitor and accurately record all inbound and outbound deliveries of construction materials.
  • Maintain a well-organized inventory system for materials such as soil, aggregates, and other site requirements.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and logistics personnel to verify delivery records per area or project site.
  • Lead and oversee the performance of warehouse staff and checkers assigned to handle deliveries.
  • Ensure proper material storage and handling practices to prevent damage, contamination, or loss.
  • Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness within the warehouse environment.
  • Communicate with procurement and logistics teams to track material schedules and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile with system records.
  • Address material shortages, discrepancies, and delivery delays promptly and effectively.
  • Generate and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on material movement and inventory status.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or inventory management, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, especially soil and aggregates.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in warehousing and construction settings.

Work Environment:

  • Site-based and warehouse environment, with frequent coordination across project locations.
  • May require extended hours during peak project phases.
