SITE NURSE

The Site Nurse will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees on construction project site by providing immediate medical care, implementing occupational health programs, and promoting overall wellness in the workplace. The role involves daily monitoring of workers' health, attending to medical emergencies, maintaining health records, and coordinating with safety officers and management to uphold health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to injured or ill employees on-site
  • Conduct daily health monitoring, including vital signs checks and health declarations
  • Maintain and update employee medical records, accident logs, and incident reports
  • Assist in implementing occupational health and safety programs in compliance with DOLE regulations
  • Coordinate with the Safety Officer and HR regarding work-related injuries and health concerns
  • Ensure availability and readiness of medical supplies and first aid equipment
  • Facilitate health education, training, and wellness campaigns for employees
  • Monitor and report cases of illness, injury, or other health-related issues to site management
  • Assist in conducting pre-employment and periodic health assessments, if applicable
  • Liaise with local healthcare facilities during emergencies or referrals
Job Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid PRC License
  • With a valid OHNAP Certificate (Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines)
  • Preferably with 2 years of experience in construction site
  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training for nurses is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in occupational health standards, emergency care, and DOLE health compliance
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills (incident reports, daily logs, etc.)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Willing to be assigned in Quezon City and to stay on-site
  • Physically and mentally fit to handle high-pressure situations and extended site hours
