Safety and Security Manager

• As our Safety, Security and Transportation Manager, you will be in charge in maintaining the health and safety standards for guests, customers, and employees within the Hotel premises. You are also responsible in preventing the loss or damage of hotel property, provide immediate and effective responses to emergencies, and direct operations for transportation for employees and guests and pick up, drop of and hauling of hotel supplies. Your expertise and insight, aligned with the Hotel's vision and mission, will drive sustainable growth and enhance the Hotel's reputation as a leader in luxury hospitality.

Essential Duties:

Health and Safety

· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs and policies in accordance with local and national regulations and industry standards

· Provide leadership and expert guidance to employees and management on safety protocols and emergency response procedures

· Lead the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and develop recommendations for improvement

· Supervise clinic activities and ensure enough clinic supplies

· Coordinate with hospitals, ambulance, and medical facilities when the need arises

Security

· Establish and implement operational policies, procedures, protocols, including emergency procedures, lost and found procedures, crowd control, among others,

· Ensure security of hotel guests, customers, and employees and mitigate risks and protect company assets

· Effectively communicate with different departments for issues and concerns related to security

· Report and respond on security situation, complaints, and incidents

· Manage the CCTV and provide footages upon request of the management

· Ensure fire code compliance

· Coordinate the training of employees about safety and ensure that all employees are properly trained

· Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to address them proactively and timely

· Maintain list of emergency numbers of fire department, police, etc.

· Act as liaison between the security agency and the hotel

· Manage the security guards and ensure 24/7 security services both inside and outside of the Hotel and ensure effective execution of security operations

· Ensure that all areas are well lit, and all signs are very visible

· Oversee the implementation and maintenance of physical security measures, including access control system, CCTV, and deployment of security guards

· Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, standards, and industry best practices, keeping abreast of changes and updates in security requirements

· Establish strategies and contingency plans for large events, emergencies, and natural disasters

Logistics and Transport Management

· Effectively communicate with different departments for issues and concerns related to hotel transportation

· Establish and implement operational policies and procedures in availing of hotel transportation services

· Responsible for the timely hotel transportation vehicles' registration and insurance, routine maintenance

· Oversee the drivers and parking attendant hiring, performance, attendance, schedules and professional development.

· Assign vehicle repair and maintenance duties

· Ensure daily maintenance and inspection of hotel vehicles

· Manage the synergy between hotel vehicle maintenance, valet parking service, and shuttle service to ensure consistent and seamless service delivery to guests and employees

· Conducts regular meetings to assess daily operations and solves any issues that arise

· Determine the route and schedule of pick up and drop off of employees and guests to pick up and drop off points

Qualifications:

· 3 years work experience in the same capacity, preferably in hotel industry

· With valid Professional Driver's License (1,2,3)

· Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office software

· Detail-oriented and with excellent organizational skills

· Possess background in an operational security field – the police or armed forces, would be ideal but not necessary

· Experience in crisis planning and management
