About the role

MTRG General Merchandise is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in optimising our retail product displays and driving sales performance across our stores.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the implementation of effective merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and appeal
  2. Collaborate with the buying and marketing teams to ensure product assortment and promotions are effectively showcased
  3. Manage and train a team especially merchandisers to deliver consistent, high-quality in-store displays
  4. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in product presentation
  5. Ensure all store merchandising complies with brand standards and company policies
  6. Partner with store operations to optimise product flow and inventory management
  7. Identify and implement innovative merchandising techniques to drive customer engagement and sales.
  8. Source potential customers and offer products whether consignment or outright.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a merchandising or visual merchandising role within the retail industry
  2. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful merchandising strategies that drive sales
  3. Excellent merchandising skills with an eye for detail and creative flair
  4. Strong project management and team leadership abilities
  5. Proficient in data analysis to measure the effectiveness of merchandising initiatives
  6. Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and product presentation best practices
  7. Degree in Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  8. Excellent communication is necessary.
