Promotions and Merchandising Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The Promotions and Merchandising Manager plays a critical and important role in the day-to-day operational support of the Portfolio Management Team. This position is responsible for the timely implementation with post evaluation of promotional activities and campaigns for the various products and services of Generika.

KEY ROLE:

Operating as the single point of contact from TPM for all product promotions and programs, guardian of promotions timelines, calls out the submission to total team to ensure that plans and programs are implemented on time.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitoring of promo grid timelines, ensuring timeliness executions of category programs.

· Creation, communication, and maintenance of promo campaigns, contents, and materials to aid in the movement of targeted products.

• Develops, conceptualize, and timely provision of merchandising materials, product briefs, and implements launch plans for new products.
• Manages the creation of marketing campaigns that support NPs and other categories in building a strong business partnership with suppliers.
• Monitors filing of permits and regulatory documents required for promotional campaigns in coordination with Corporate Pharma and Marketing.
• Monitors processing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the suppliers.
• Manages Manual Purchase Request (MPR) for the promo collaterals and boxes used in the distribution of promo collaterals to the stores.
• Manages withdrawal request for the promo collaterals and ensure timely distribution to the stores in collaboration with Retail Promotions Unit (RPU).
• Point person in communicating new store openings and securing in-store activities and support from relevant suppliers.
• ·Conducts post analysis on results attributed to promotional activities such as category promos and trade deals to both Internal and External customers.
• Gathers insights/ feedback from Operations team every program implementation.
• Processing of rebates for stores and from supplier/s.
• Assist HR with product training of Operations and frontliners to intensify brand recall.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Educational Attainment

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university on any medical, marketing, or business-related course.

Experience

· Minimum three-year's experience in marketing, promotions, retail, pharmacies, or pharmaceutical companies.

B. COMPETENCIES

· Pharmaceutical product knowledge is an advantage

· Strong communicator both written and oral, with ability to switch hats between technical speak and business language

· Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Accuracy and keen eye for detail

· Computer proficient with advanced skill in using Microsoft Excel is a must

· Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, experience working in complex environments and ability to work autonomously

Pay: From Php80,000.00 per month
