JOB SUMMARY:

  • The HR Associate ensures the timely processing of payroll and compliance with all government contributions of the employees. S/He is responsible for processing the company and mandatory benefits. S/He is also in charge of recruitment, and activities related to the employee relations of the company

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Process the timekeeping and payroll on time.
  • Ensure that all employees shall receive the correct payout and benefits.
  • Handle the payment request and all related documents of mandatory benefits of the employees.
  • Coordinate with the vendor on the schedule of benefits of the qualified or concerned employee.
  • Know any updates related to the mandatory benefits and DOLE wage guidelines in a timely manner.

II. RECRUITMENT

  • Sources qualified applicants through different recruitment channels and strategies: online job advertisements, walk-in applicants, job fairs, social media postings and referrals
  • Screens invited applicants through initial targeted selection interviews and pre-employment examinations
  • Facilitates onboarding processes: job offer, pre-employment requirements, contract signing, etc.
  • Ensures all vacancies are filled with suitable candidates within the established turnaround time
  • Maintains completeness of employees 201 files and records on the HR master file, as well as the demographics database
  • Manages employee records on the HR master file and the accuracy of all information encoded in the system
  • Conducts extensive background checks to previous employers, schools, and other character references provided by the selected candidate to validate data provided

III. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Conceptualize and implement employee-related programs and activities to enhance employer-employee relationships.
  • Monitors new hires' progress by sending out notifications to concerned Superiors to remind them of the evaluation schedule of their respective subordinates and ensures that accomplished performance appraisal forms are submitted on time.

IV. LABOR RELATIONS

  • Review the tardiness reports and all incident reports related to attendance and do disciplinary memos, if necessary.

V. GENERAL

  • Generates monthly reports relating to current manpower headcount, employee list, OT, salary, employee movements, and tardiness record.
  • Assists in addressing day-to-day employee concerns
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all information and documents he/she has access to inside the Company
  • Adheres to the standards set by the Company on work attitude and ethics, proper uniform, and performance, including the TOP Vision, Mission and Values
  • Performs other tasks that may be deemed necessary by the superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Training:

  • Graduate of AB/BS Psychology, Behavioral Science or Human Resource Management
  • Registered Psychometrician, an advantage

Work Experience:

  • Has one (1) to two (2) years experience in related field
  • Exposure in other HR Functions / Facets an added advantage
