Job description: Junior Multimedia Artist

Responsibilities

  • Video Content Creation: Assist in the production and editing of video content for online platforms, including YouTube channels, social media, and promotional campaigns. This includes tasks such as:

-Assembling raw footage into a cohesive story

-Inserting motion graphics, titles, and visual effects

-Adding and synchronizing music and sound effects

-Executing color correction and grading

  • Motion Graphics: Design and animate motion graphics for videos, advertisements, and other digital content to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
  • Graphic Design: Create static visual assets for use across various digital platforms. This may include:

-Social media graphics, such as thumbnails, banners, and profile pictures

-Infographics and visual aids for videos

-Marketing and promotional materials

  • Creative Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and work with a team of writers, producers, and senior creatives to develop concepts and creative solutions.
  • Brand Adherence: Ensure all content and visuals are consistent and align with the brand identity and style guides of the MCN and its clients.
  • Asset Management: Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and digital assets for efficient use by the creative team.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated with the latest social media and design trends, software, and tools to continuously enhance skills.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Fresh graduates are often encouraged to apply.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating creative abilities in graphic design and video editing is required.
  • Software Proficiency: Adept at using industry-standard software, including the Adobe Creative Suite.

-Required: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator

-Preferred: Adobe After Effects and Canva

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for aesthetics, typography, color, and layout.
  • Work Ethic: Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and incorporate feedback.
