Project Manager – Job Description

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Supervise project teams and coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review reports, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues affecting project timelines or costs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders regarding project updates.
  • Ensure all permits and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Lead meetings and provide guidance to site teams for smooth project execution.
  • Manage project closeout activities and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Licensed Engineer (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel or be assigned on-site as needed.
