About the Client

Our client is a multi-state ambulatory surgery center specializing in pediatric and special needs dentistry under general anesthesia. Their mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and efficient surgical care while creating a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff. To ensure quality care and regulatory compliance, we are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join their growing team.

About the Role

The US Facility Credentialing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing process for providers within our surgery centers. This role ensures that all providers are properly credentialed with the facility and have obtained the necessary board approvals to deliver care in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for providers seeking privileges at our surgery centers.
  • Prepare, review, and submit credentialing and re-credentialing applications to providers and appropriate boards.
  • Maintain accurate credentialing files and records for all providers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements.
  • Monitor credentialing status and communicate upcoming expirations, renewals, or deficiencies to providers and leadership.
  • Collaborate with providers, boards, and internal teams to resolve credentialing-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Support audits, surveys, and reviews related to provider credentialing and facility compliance.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of experience in medical or dental credentialing, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center or healthcare facility.
  • Strong understanding of credentialing standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with providers, boards, and leadership.
