Job Summary:

The Project Manager is the strategic leader and execution focal point for assigned renewable energy projects, driving them from early development through to financial close ("shovel-ready" status). This role requires a robust blend of financial oversight, detailed technical understanding, deep negotiation skills, and team management, with a specific emphasis on land acquisition and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership and Delivery

  2. Leads the day-to-day coordination and execution of assigned projects, ensuring a seamless transition between development phases.

  3. Serves as the central coordinator for all internal teams (Technical, Compliance, etc.) and external consultants.

  4. Attains a detailed understanding of the project, including maps, specific locations, and operational nuances, to make meaningful suggestions for improvement (e.g., reroutes

  5. Land Acquisition and Negotiation

  6. Must be the focal point for all negotiations related to land acquisition for their specific projects.

  7. Coordinates meetings with specific stakeholders to move the land and project forward.

  8. Oversees the work of the Public Relations Officer (PRO) and other site liaisons to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and land de-risking

  9. Financial and Reporting

  10. Provides a monthly budget report and is responsible for scrutinizing and controlling the team's expenditures.

  11. Provides a weekly action report to the Head of Project Development and a daily activity report (via email or phone) on Freya's on-site team activities.

  12. Team Site and Management

  13. Manages the entire on-site team, including overseeing the work of Project Coordinators.

  14. Handles employee termination processes, following HR procedures.

  15. Ensures the care and supply of the on-site office for use by the entire company

  16. Client & Stakeholder Relations

  17. Handles directly and on a daily basis, client relations for their assigned projects.

  18. Manages all key negotiations across the project lifecycle.

  19. Travel Requirements

  20. Must have the ability to travel to multiple project sites/provinces for extended periods of time

Minimum Skills Requirement:

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Project Management within the Renewable Energy (Solar/Wind) or Infrastructure/Real Estate Development sector.
  • Land & Legal: Proven, hands-on experience as the lead negotiator for land acquisition (purchase, lease, or right-of-way) and direct involvement in community relations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Financial & Reporting: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database software for detailed budget scrutiny, financial tracking, and accurate monthly reporting.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to attain a detailed understanding of technical project aspects (maps, site locations, reroutes) and provide meaningful suggestions for operational improvement.
  • Documentation & Admin: Proficiency in editing complex legal/business documents (e.g., contracts, lease notices, official letters) and managing physical and digital documentation systems.
  • Leadership & Travel: Demonstrated leadership experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
