Credit Investigator/Liaison

Job Summary: The Field Credit Investigator is responsible for performing in-depth investigations in the field to verify and assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers. This role involves conducting on-site visits, gathering pertinent financial and personal information, and assessing the borrower's ability to repay loans. The Field Credit Investigator plays a vital role in the lending process by ensuring that all information provided by loan applicants is accurate, reliable, and verifiable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Investigations: Conduct on-site visits to borrowers' homes, places of employment, or other relevant locations to verify personal, financial, and employment details.
- Document Verification: Collect and verify essential documents such as identification, income statements, employment contracts, proof of residence, and other necessary paperwork.
- Background Checks: Perform in-depth background checks on applicants by visiting references, neighbors, or colleagues to validate the applicant's financial standing, work history, and other relevant details.
- Risk Assessment: Analyze the information collected during field investigations and assess the risk associated with lending to a particular borrower, including identifying potential fraud or inconsistencies.
- Applicant Interviews: Interview applicants and their references to gather additional details about their financial status and history, ensuring the integrity of the loan application process.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with credit analysts, loan officers, and other departments to provide updates on the findings of field investigations and assist in making informed lending decisions.
- Field Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports summarizing findings from field investigations, including verified information and recommendations regarding loan approval or rejection.
- Customer Service: Provide clear and polite communication with borrowers during the verification process, ensuring a positive customer experience even when verifying sensitive information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to Php12,540.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
