DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving and Inspection

  • Sweep the unloaded deliveries at the Inbound staging area to the designated Warehouse location.

Storage and Organization

  • Organize the warehouse space efficiently, ensuring that the First In, First Out, First Expiry, First Out rules are strictly followed for inventory rotation.
  • Store materials in designated areas in compliance with warehouse layout, food safety, HALAL, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storage areas at all times.
  • Identify opportunities for Warehouse layout improvements and operational enhancements, and communicate suggestions to immediate supervisors.

Inventory Management

  • Record stock movements accurately in the warehouse management system or manual logs.
  • Participate in cycle counts and periodic physical inventory activities.

Order Preparation and Dispatching

  • Pick, pack, and prepare goods in accordance with customer invoices generated by the Admin Department.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness of dispatch.
  • Conduct physical quality checking and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor. Such will be reported to the Inventory Analyst for endorsement to the concerned departments.

Equipment Handling

  • Operate warehouse tools and equipment such as trolleys and push carts in a safe manner.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately. Safety and Compliance
  • Develop contingency plans for delivery disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, and natural events.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle crises.
  • Conduct quality checks and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages to the GR Processor and Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader.
