Job Summary

The Warehouse Staff is responsible for overseeing the storage, handling, and issuance of glass and aluminum materials. The role requires technical skills in measuring, cutting, and safely handling fragile and heavy items, while ensuring accurate inventory management and timely support to production operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries of glass, aluminum, and related materials.
  • Safely store materials in designated areas following industry safety standards.
  • Prepare and issue materials to production teams based on job orders and project requirements.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as glass cutters, grinders, and measuring devices when needed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory checks and reporting.
  • Ensure proper documentation of warehouse transactions (receipts, issuances, and returns).
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Project teams for timely material availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse area.
  • Report damaged, defective, or missing items to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Support loading and unloading of materials to and from delivery trucks.
  • Adhere to company policies and occupational safety standards.

Qualifications

  • At least a vocational/technical course graduate or bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the glass and aluminum industry or construction field.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in handling glass and aluminum materials.
  • Ability to operate cutting tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and material documentation.
  • Physically fit to handle and carry heavy materials safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
  • Good communication and coordination skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office
