About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with expertise in Hurey payroll systems, financial consolidations, and accounting practices for both Australian and Philippine markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, preparing financial reports, and managing multi-jurisdiction accounting requirements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time using the Hurey payroll platform for  Philippine employees.

  • Ensure compliance with Australian and Philippine taxation, labor laws, and accounting standards and payroll

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare and file tax returns, payroll tax, and other statutory requirements.

  • Monitor and analyze financial data to support decision-making.

  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least experience in payroll processing using Hurey.

  • Strong understanding of Australian and Philippine accounting principles and payroll regulations.

  • Experience in financial consolidation across multiple entities.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ideally xero experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Hurey or other similar accounting platforms.

  • Knowledge of Philippine BIR reporting and Australian BAS/GST requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
