Machinery Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists the Machinery Manager in developing plans and programs for the different work activities of the Machinery Section and sees to it that goals and objectives are clearly established and defined for specific ship repair and conversion projects.

1. Provides general supervision and coordination of works involving machinery, fabrication, fitting and mechanical rigging by establishing the plans and programs in order to accomplish repair and conversion projects.

2. Develops plans and programs for the different work activities of the Machinery Section by monitoring daily work assignments and objectives to ensure that works are in accordance to approved specifications.

3. Plans and forecast the daily manpower requirements and deployments of personnel by providing details of work assignment and monthly balancing the attendance of Machinery Supervisors to properly schedule and delegate man power resources for different works and ongoing projects.

4. Conducts periodic meetings with other Engineers and Machinery Supervisors, and coordinates the various status of work progress, in order to proactively address problems and issues that will hamper the successful completion of ongoing projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering

2. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

3. Licensced Mechanical Engineer or planning to take board exams (for fresh graduates)
