Job Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

1 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and security administration, with exposure to both on-premises and cloud environments.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.), with experience in cost optimization and security best practices.

Proficiency in administering firewalls (FortiGate or similar), switches, VPNs, and wireless access points.

Experience with backup strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure integration (cloud and on-premises).

Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, Data Privacy Act).

Experience with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Effective communication skills to coordinate with IT and non-IT staff.

Flexibility to support IT Helpdesk/Tech Support when required.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Administer and monitor AWS cloud services, ensuring availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.

•  Implement and maintain security controls, backup strategies, and compliance requirements across AWS and on-premises systems.

•  Manage and support network and infrastructure components including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless access.

•  Proactively monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and security issues to minimize downtime.

•  Assist with infrastructure projects such as cloud migration, hybrid integration, and network expansion.

•  Collaborate with the IT team to strengthen the overall cybersecurity posture.

•  Provide assistance to IT Helpdesk/Tech Support when infrastructure and security tasks are minimal, ensuring flexibility and efficiency across the IT team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php31,000.00 per month
