Job Description: Furniture Painter

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Painter to prepare, paint, and finish furniture pieces according to company quality standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques to produce high-quality, durable, and visually appealing furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare furniture surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, or applying primer.
  • Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, lacquers, or varnishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Ensure even coating and smooth finishing on all furniture surfaces.
  • Inspect furniture for imperfections and perform necessary touch-ups or refinishing.
  • Maintain and properly use painting tools, spray guns, and other equipment.
  • Follow company quality standards and ensure consistency in finishes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with carpenters, upholsterers, and other team members to meet production schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a furniture painter, spray painter, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, and finishes.
  • Skilled in using painting tools and spray equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality finishes.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle painting tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Creativity and sense of design for custom finishes.
  • Experience in furniture repair or restoration is a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php14, Php20,000.00 per month
