As a Line Cook you'll be a key part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes efficiently. You'll collaborate with senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations while delivering a top-notch dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up kitchen stations with the required tools and ingredients before service.
  • Prepare and cook various food items, including cleaning, cutting, and cooking ingredients for sushi, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts.
  • Plate dishes according to the chef's specifications, maintaining consistency in presentation and portion control.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas to meet safety and hygiene standards.
  • Follow food safety protocols and quality standards to ensure all dishes are prepared safely.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness throughout the shift and after service, properly storing equipment and ingredients.
  • Set up stations with necessary supplies before service and restock as needed during service.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate/undergraduate in Hospitality, Culinary, or a related program.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or line cook position is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and memorization skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused during busy periods.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as needed to support kitchen operations.
  • Accuracy and efficiency in executing assigned tasks.
