Head Chef

Overview: We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Line Cook to join our growing team in Manam. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen leadership team to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in daily back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate has strong culinary fundamentals, team leadership capabilities, and a passion for food preparation at a high standard. This role will be part of our pioneering team at SM La Union.

• Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
• Supervise food prep and cooking
• Check food plating and temperature
• Establish portion sizes
• Schedule kitchen staff shifts
• Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
• Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
• Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
