Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advise, assist, or guide the company in complying with the provisions of Environmental Laws
  • Oversee the overall management of the Environmental Management Program across all projects in coordination with the OSH Committee
  • Act in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to environmental aspects in construction for the guidance of the company and workers on all jobsites
  • Regularly monitor and inspect project sites to identify potential environmental risks in construction operations, with the participation of site supervisors, contractors, and workers
  • Provide technical assistance and monitor the implementation of the company's Environmental Management Program and project Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC)

Qualifications

  • With at least 1 to 3 years of experience as a DENR/LLDA Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) in construction management or building construction, focusing on the implementation of applicable environmental laws
  • Graduate of an Engineering or Environmental course
  • Completed Basic PCO (40 hours) training conducted by a DENR-Accredited Training Organization

Knowledge

  • OSH and Environmental Standards, First Aid, and Fire Safety
  • Project Management / Construction Management
  • MS Office applications

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong management skills such as Project Management, Project Scheduling, Quality, and Construction Safety Management
  • With Driver's License
