The IT Hosting Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining top-tier IT solutions for our hosting services. This individual will leverage their extensive experience to provide expert technical guidance and support across both project implementations and operational activities.

What will you do?

We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon's business globally. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

• Act as escalation point for the resolution of complex technical incidents and problems from the Service Desk and Key stakeholders
• Identifies Hosting requirements and promotes them into the Strategy & Architecture team for design, build and delivery.
• Engage with Project teams to ensure Operational Acceptance Criteria are clearly established and that services transition into operational use occurs in a sustainable and secure manner.
• Develops and maintains key documentation including as-built, knowledge articles, and drives good housekeeping regarding documentation, maintenance schedules and best practices.
• Takes a leading role in the management of Hosting suppliers to Aurecon, ensuring they deliver to SLA and escalating where necessary.
• Provides support to the Hosting Services Team Leader and Manager, acting has his 2IC when required.
• Adhere to incident, Problem, and Change management processes as per Aurecon standards and within SLAs

You will also need the following:

Qualifications:

• Has 10 years of work experience (combination of operations and implementation)
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• Implementation and Framework experience in Microsoft Azure
• Hands on experience on Microsoft Azure; Microsoft Server 2016 or above – Admin and Management (Troubleshooting, installation, decommissioning, and server build)
• Someone who has a strong Project implementation experience
• Microsoft Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Site Services, and Group Policy) – Admin and Management, Microsoft Exchange2016 or above
• VMware vSphere 7.0 or above
• Backup and Storage management; Vulnerability and Patch management
• Industry Standard Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, Azure, etc.) is a plus
