Cleaning and Facilities Maintenance Staff

We are seeking a dependable and proactive individual for the role of Cleaning and Facilities Maintenance Staff in our warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the warehouse environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and assisting with the maintenance of the facility and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties:

• Perform regular cleaning of warehouse floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.).
• Sanitize restrooms, Locker rooms, and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Replenish and monitor cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas such as loading docks, entrances parking and eating areas.

Facilities Maintenance Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance issues (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, structural).
• Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door handles, and unclogging drains.
• Monitor and assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems as directed.
• Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or servicing.
• Assist with facility improvement projects (e.g., painting, shelving, minor installations).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.

Warehouse Support & Safety:

• Ensure walkways and emergency exits are clear and accessible.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
• Follow warehouse safety guidelines, cleaning procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Assist with emergency clean-up (e.g., spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions).

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a cleaner preferably with at least 2 years of experience working as a cleaner in a Warehouse company.
• With extensive knowledge on cleaning sterile areas.
• Has knowledge in GMP/GWP.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Has knowledge on performing minor facilities repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door handles, and unclogging drains, cleaning of AC units.
• Detail-oriented, with sense of integrity and stewardship, and with good customer service orientation.
