Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (preferrably but not required)
  • With 6-7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, accounting, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations applicable to the organization's industry.
  • With excellent analytical skills, communication skills, adaptability and technology skills.

Job Description:

  • Shall develop an annual audit plan based on a risk assessment, which includes evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Shall lead, mentor, and manage a team of internal auditors, providing guidance, setting performance expectations, and fostering professional development.
  • Shall execute and oversee audits of various business functions, departments, and processes to assess compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness. Review and evaluate financial statements, accounting records, and operational procedures.
  • Shall identify and assess potential risks and weaknesses in the company's operations and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Shall prepare comprehensive audit reports that summarize findings, recommendations, and action plans for administrative management and the top management
  • Shall ensure that the company adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Shall monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Shall stay updated on industry best practices and emerging risks, and continuously improve the internal audit function.
  • Shall maintain open and effective communication with key stakeholders, including admins, the top management, and external auditors.
  • Shall leverage audit software and data analytics tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process.
  • Shall perform justifiable duties and other functions that may be assigned by the management.
