Cost Control Engineer

Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the Mine Planning and Engineering Manager, the Cost Control Engineer is accountable and responsible for monitoring and controlling expenditures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed daily, weekly and monthly production and accomplishment report of the project that will provide sufficient information to the Delta Corporate on the productivity of each project.
2. Compare operations productivity against the target set and agreed by Delta Project management team and Delta Engineering and provide recommendations on ways to improve the projects overall output
3. Check and maintain database for production, drilling and blasting activity of all quarry projects.
4. Provide data that will be used in the corporate office as a basis for project bids and proposal.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Graduate of Mining Engineering Course, preferably licensed professional.

2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

3. Computer literate

4. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;

5. Creative, forward thinker. 6. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets

7. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

8. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

9. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner
