Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations - including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
  • Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff and assign tasks according to priorities
  • Inspect facilities, machinery, and systems to identify issues or potential failures
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts inventory
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Coordinate with production or facility teams to plan maintenance with minimal disruption
  • Manage contractors or vendors for specialized repair and service work
  • Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements to reduce breakdowns
  • Support budgeting and cost control for maintenance activities
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely operated

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and preventive maintenance best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
  • Basic budgeting and resource planning experience
