The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement process by reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role is ideal for candidates with around 1 year of procurement or supply chain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review purchase requisitions against specifications, budget, and approvals.
  • Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) using the automated purchasing system.
  • Assist in inventory monitoring to meet requirements at minimal cost.
  • Support disposal of surplus, obsolete, or scrap materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with brokers and insurance providers for company policies.
  • Communicate with end-users and suppliers on specs, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Assist in sourcing, supplier evaluation, and maintaining supplier records.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in line with purchasing policies.
  • Comply with company policies and support team projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of Management, Engineering (Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or equivalent) or any related courses.
  • 1 year of related experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • Ability to speak and understand Ilonggo is a plus.
