Job Summary:

The Risk and Compliance Lead is a critical role responsible for safeguarding the organization by managing contractual agreement and ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and regulations in a fast-paced IT environment.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and assess several types of contractual agreements in a fast-paced IT/corporate environment.
  • Risk Management and Escalation - Identify, assess, and analyze potential risks to the organization. Develop mitigation strategies and manage the risk associated with contractual obligations.
  • Monitoring and Reporting - Track key risk associated with contractual obligations
  • Stakeholder Coordination with business units, IT, legal, and finance to provide guidance on risk and compliance matters and ensure alignment on contractual obligations.
  • Continuous Improvement - Proactively identify opportunities to enhance Contract management frameworks
  • Contracts and Project Scope of Work Management review
  • Support the Governance team in implementation and maintenance of the corporate governance framework. Drive the enforcement and communication of internal policies and procedures across the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • Law Degree holder
  • At least 3-5 years of contract review and management experience
  • Proven experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or related areas.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data protection laws, and information governance principles.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to build relationships across various functions and manage expectations effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail in reviewing contracts, scope of works, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
