We are looking for a highly accomplished Senior Vice President & Head of Internal Audit to lead the Internal Audit function of a dynamic ICT and digital services company. This is a Board-facing executive role responsible for providing independent, risk-based assurance and advisory services to the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Senior Management.

The role requires an experienced audit leader who can shape strategy, oversee enterprise-wide audits (financial, operational, IT, compliance, and fraud), and ensure robust governance, risk management, and internal controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Internal Audit function and execute a risk-based audit plan aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and internal controls.
  • Oversee audits across financial, operational, IT, compliance, and fraud risk domains.
  • Report regularly to the Board and Audit Committee on audit results, emerging risks, and governance issues.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing audit team including IT Audit, Financial Audit, and Operations Audit.
  • Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance & Improvement Program, ensuring conformance to international audit standards.
  • Collaborate with regulators, professional associations, and external auditors to strengthen compliance and corporate governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); CISA or equivalent international qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15+ years of internal audit experience, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of ICT, telecoms, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Expertise in financial reporting standards, IT audit, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Board-level presence with strong influencing, strategic, and leadership skills.
