About the Role

We are in a growth stage and currently looking for a Head of People & Culture, based in The Philippines, responsible for helping find, engage, grow and retain top talent. You will act as a cultivator and champion for the company culture and will support the company executives and team leaders, allowing Theos to develop and grow quickly. In this role, you will be responsible for all human resources related activities (well, almost...).

As Head of the People you will be responsible for helping us build and support this awesome team and support the company as it grows, ensuring that all staff understand how people decisions get made. You will partner with all areas of the company to help our team build and support their organisations. This will involve driving recruitment of the best talent, coaching on team leadership, helping to resolve employee relations issues and managing programs that help develop staff.

This position is a key strategic role in the company helping to grow the business and allowing us to build a unique and strong people-oriented culture at Theos.

Responsibilities:

  • Take Care of Our People: Awesome people deserve awesome care.
  • Cultivate the Theos Culture: Plant seeds of camaraderie, water them with team-building activities and good practices, and foster the kind of environment that makes the team excited to go give its best.
  • Own All Human Resource Related Activities: Provide support and consultation across the business, supporting staff, managers and executives in all related areas and regions including: recruitment, performance management, compensation and rewards, staff relations, people development, and training.
  • Empathy Engineer: Build bridges of understanding Tune in to the team's energy, address concerns, and champion an environment where everyone feels heard and valued.
  • Find, Develop, and Retain Top Talent: Design and implement programs, process and activities that drive effective hiring and retention. Be the team's biggest cheerleader and the loudest supporter in the room
  • Use Data: Provide useful data to help guide decision making, and allow the company to scale effectively and efficiently.
  • Be a Leader: Provide leadership on people related issues and policies across the company.
  • Communicate: Be able to communicate at all levels in the company and to support business development and change.
  • HR Admin (Just Kidding): While you won't be the one diving into the important work of administrative documents, you'll work closely with team members that do to ensure our policies and programs are supportive of both our business, and our people. Focus on our people, not the paperwork

Requirements:

  • Off the charts emotional intelligence to accurately predict and proactively highlight how actions and decisions impact people
  • Exceptional communication skills making people feel comfortable and foster psychological safety
  • Business Acumen to relate how People decisions impact the business
  • Bias for Action: resist the temptation to create a perfect world and instead deliver continuous and gradual improvements
  • Demonstrable leadership and people management skills
  • Analytical skills to measure and demonstrate the ROI of People programs
  • Experience as Senior HR Manager or higher in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show an ability to challenge conventional approaches and a willingness to build a unique approach
  • This position is hybrid with occasional time at Theos office in BGC, Manila. Other offices include HK, SG and KL.
