The Global Practice and Industry BD Intern will be a part of the team that ensures that the goals and objectives of and the expectations from the Global Practice and Sector Groups are met.

The intern will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our Practice and Industry BD teams related to selected demand generation and profile raising programs including marketing infrastructure management and coordination of firmwide marketing and BD activities.

Responsibilities:

Business Development and Marketing Activities

  • Support the development and execution of business development and marketing day-to-day activities and programmes for the Industries and Practices.
  • Conduct research to support business development activities and identify opportunities with target clients using firmwide systems and incoordination with research teams.
  • Develop marketing materials to support campaigns, events and client engagement (e.g. contact cards, presentations, placemats, capability statements).
  • Support social media and digital campaigns including gathering stats for these campaigns to measure success.
  • Collate content for internal newsletters

Practice and Industry Infrastructure and Projects

  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders on the update of practice and industry intranet and external web pages to ensure current and relevant in formation is accessible.
  • Create, maintain, and update internal Outlook distribution lists, client contact lists, and mailing lists.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business
  • Strong time management skills and client service orientation
  • Great attention to detail
  • Flexible/ can switch tasks if needed (multitasking)
  • Can create presentation materials and reports
  • Dedicated/ self-driven: Driven by a strong personal sense of integrity and upholds exemplary quality standards
  • Respects and enjoys the diversity of cultural, social and academic backgrounds found in the Firm
  • Treats delicate or confidential issues with grace and discretion
