Job Summary: The Junior Budget and Cost Analyst is responsible for conducting data analysis, generating insightful reports, and supporting financial decision-making. This role involves understanding product cost structures, tracking performance against budgets, consolidating and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting. The analyst also collaborates on ad-hoc projects to support business goals while ensuring high-quality and accurate financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct data analysis, generate reports and communicate insights to business partners.
  2. Understanding of product cost structure to support cost tracking, analysis and reporting.
  3. Track and analyze actual performance to budget.
  4. Profit and Loss consolidation and analysis.
  5. Help with annual expense budgeting and forecast.
  6. Support the group with ad-hoc projects.

Key Qualifications

Education: Any business-related courses. Preferably Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience: Financial reporting and consolidation, product costing, budgeting and with proven ability to deliver high quality and accurate reports.

Special Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have in depth knowledge about Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
