Job Qualification

  • Candidate must possess at least a high school diploma/ Vocational Degree/ Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
  • For non-degree holder, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • For Degree holder, at least 2 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. DOLE certified Safety Practitioner, with COSH and BOSH certificate.
  • For non-degree holder, at least 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Experience involves both on-the-job and informal training with experienced work colleagues. DOLE certified Safety Practitioner, with COSH and BOSH certificate.
  • Required Skill(s): Organizing Resources, planning and establishing priorities, Good Leadership, Reading and Written Comprehension, Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Workflow analysis and management, Records management and maintenance, Stress Tolerance.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in any DANAO, CEBU.
  • With experience in Construction Firm is an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS :

  • Conducts safety training and education programs, and demonstrates the use of safety equipment.
  • Conducts daily toolbox meeting to remind workers of the company policy and client's house rules that should be implemented in the project.
  • Conducts safety orientation to workers prior to deployment to the work site.
  • Conducts daily site inspection to monitor and enforce 5S of Housekeeping, adhere to safety practices rules and regulations, and safety waste disposal.
  • Inspects specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, and first-aid supplies.
  • Inspects and evaluates workplace environment, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting and other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort or performances.
  • Investigates accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
  • Acts on recommendations by the Safety Committee.
  • Analyzes and evaluates Job Hazard Analysis/Safe Plan of Action required in every task to be performed at the jobsite and require what applicable measures to be done by the action party.
  • Supervises collection samples ( such as water gases) and other potentially toxic materials for analysis.
  • Interacts and coordinates with Clients Safety and Security Representatives.
  • Participates in the organization or program for the celebration of safety milestone.
  • Prepares memo, citation, safety reports, accident/incident reports and weekly accomplishment report.
