Job Summary

A leading company in the shareholder services and investor relations industry is seeking a Research and Data Analyst with expertise in shareholder identification, data interpretation, and register analysis. The role requires someone who can immediately contribute with minimal training, preferably with experience in proxy advisory, governance consulting, or financial institutions. The analyst will collaborate with global teams to manage sensitive shareholder data, prepare identification reports, and deliver accurate disclosures that support clients' strategic shareholder engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex shareholder registers and custodial files to accurately identify beneficial owners and investment managers.
  • Prepare detailed shareholder identification reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness before final submission or outsourcing.
  • Update and maintain shareholder records in compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Verify and validate data inputs from custodial lists and monitor timely submission of shareholder data.
  • Conduct peer benchmarking and shareholder base analysis for APAC markets (e.g., Hong Kong, Japan).
  • Handle escalated shareholder ID-related inquiries and provide data-backed insights to clients.
  • Create performance and production reports using Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and visual reporting).
  • Cascade client instructions and ensure strict adherence to shareholder identification processes and disclosure standards.
  • Share knowledge from international training programs and mentor junior analysts when necessary.
  • Manage multiple deadlines effectively while maximizing team productivity and output.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in shareholder identification, proxy solicitation/governance consulting, or shareholder services.
  • Strong background in register analysis, beneficial ownership identification, and handling large shareholder datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data visualization).
  • High attention to detail with proven research and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience working in global and remote setups.
  • Willingness to work on a night shift schedule in a hybrid setup.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php65,000.00 per month
