Pre-Press Printing Technician

Our company designs consumer personal care products within the skincare, haircare, bath/body, aromatherapy, and other wellness categories.

This position is the last step in the design process before printing. You will create the final files before they are sent to the printing company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing digital files for printing.
• Refining design files and artwork to meet precise print specifications and brand guidelines.
• Checking for errors, such as low-resolution images, incorrect color settings, or missing fonts.
• Applying artwork to templates and die lines.
• Preparing print-ready files for different substrates or materials and printing methods.
• Performing color correction and separation.
• Ensuring the artwork is formatted correctly with proper bleeds and margins.
• Creating proofs and preparing files for plate-making.
• Creating post-processing finishing and special effects instructions.
• Making sure design post-processing effects are suitable for the type on material it will be printed on.
• Communicating with sales teams about file readiness and project status.
• Finalize files making them Press Ready for the printing companies.
• Ensure files marked 'FINAL' have been fully checked and are ready for print or other executions.
• Other tasks and duties per business needs.

Work from Home Requirements:

• You are able to focus on work when working from home without distractions.
• You are able to answer phone calls immediately without delay or call backs.
• You have a recent model computer and minimally a 24" monitor.
• You have high speed internet and no electricity or power related issues.
• You have a desk and a quiet working area capable of video calls.
• You agree to have a productivity monitoring software installed on your working computer.
• During your free time while on company clock, you will be researching new design and packaging ideas and create PowerPoint files that can be used for future projects.

Working Hours:

• 9am to 6pm Indian Standard Time Monday to Saturday. 1 Hour Lunch Break.
• You cannot be employed at multiple places, and you cannot take on contract/freelance jobs while working for us.
• Our contract is for Exclusive employment.
