The Product Development Manager is responsible for creating, developing, and enhancing travel products and services that align with the agency's brand, market demands, and revenue goals. This role involves researching travel trends, building partnerships with suppliers, pricing packages competitively, and ensuring high-quality experiences for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze travel trends, customer feedback, and market demand to identify new product opportunities.
  • Design and develop travel packages (domestic and international), including tours, accommodations, transport, and activities.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers such as hotels, transport providers, and local tour operators.
  • Create itineraries, pricing structures, and detailed product information for marketing and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to launch and promote new products effectively.
  • Monitor the performance of travel products and make improvements based on feedback and profitability.
  • Ensure all travel products comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Train and support sales and reservations teams on new products.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product development or travel operations in the travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and booking/reservation systems.
