Information Technology Assistant Manager

About the role

As the Information Technology Assistant Manager at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc', you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the company's information technology operations. Based in Lipa City, Batangas, this full-time position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT services to support the company's strategic objectives.

Candidates must have Australian work authorisation rights.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, systems, and applications
2. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related business requirements
4. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data security and regulatory compliance
5. Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including performance management, training, and professional development
6. Continuously monitor and evaluate the company's IT systems and infrastructure, recommending improvements and enhancements
7. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to align IT initiatives with the overall business objectives

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2. Microsoft or Cisco certifications are required for this position.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management or leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
4. A minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing industry IT experience is required.
5. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams, including experience in performance management and staff development
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
8. Proficient in project management, change management, and process improvement methodologies
9. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking technologies
10. Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance requirements
