Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT job functions with at least 5 years of recent experience in providing hands-on project management direction at the first-line level
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on management of an Application Development project covering in at least 4 of the standard system development life-cycle phases
- Has demonstrated success in managing projects using Waterfall and Agile
- Has demonstrated ability to successfully design and implement a variety of complex systems and solutions
- Has demonstrated ability in the administration and technical supervision of senior and junior level technical personnel in the area of expertise for which the Project Manager was hired
- Has demonstrated mastery of project control procedures such as Planning, Tracking, Change Management, Risk Management, Issue Management, Personnel Management, etc.
- Has demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel
- Experience in MS Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project (or similar Project Management Tools)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Other Qualifications (nice-to-have/advantage):
- Completed a formal training in Project Management/ PMP Certification
- Certified at Scrum Master Level
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver project scope and requirements using the prescribed project methodology
- Onboard and train new Project Managers
- Create, optimize, and maintain training and process materials
- Responsible for interfacing with clients, partners and sub-contractors
- Establish and adhere to project targets, goals and reporting requirements
- Attend daily, weekly and monthly project status meetings (where project deltas are communicated)
- Establish project execution plan, interface management process, responsibility matrix, schedules and work breakdown structure (WBS) relative to contract requirements and milestones
- Adhere to RCG's quality stage gate milestones
- Monitor and adhere to technical and risk management processes
- Responsible for following project controls systems (i.e. document control, cost control and schedule)
- Monitor progress and take timely, proactive, corrective actions where necessary to limit delay and risk
- Resolve problems and conflicts within project and understand when to activate escalation procedures
- Responsible for adhering to RCG change management processes
