Muvr is an AI-powered logistics platform that connects people and businesses with reliable local movers, haulers, and delivery professionals. Our mission is to make moving, delivery, and junk removal effortless, transparent, and safe.
We are transforming how items move across cities — from sofas and appliances to full residential or commercial moves.
We're looking for a Driver Acquisition Specialist to help grow and support Muvr's nationwide network of movers and drivers. You'll be the first point of contact for new providers — sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified professionals who represent Muvr's safety and quality standards.
This is a hybrid role that blends recruiting, compliance, and onboarding operations. You'll work closely with our Provider Operations, Compliance, and Enablement teams to ensure every provider joining Muvr is ready to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit new movers, haulers, and couriers through job boards, digital campaigns, community outreach, and referral programs.
- Screen applicants for vehicle eligibility, insurance compliance, and equipment readiness (pickup trucks, cargo vans, box trucks, dump trucks).
- Manage onboarding from start to finish — document verification, app training, policy acknowledgment, and readiness checks.
- Track key onboarding metrics (approval rate, activation rate, retention) and report insights to CentralOps.
- Collaborate with Workforce Management (WFM) to align supply with regional demand forecasts.
- Partner with Compliance to uphold safety, insurance, and vehicle standards.
- Host onboarding sessions (virtual or in-field) to ensure readiness and confidence for first jobs.
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in driver recruitment, operations, or gig-economy onboarding (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, TaskRabbit).
- Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, or small fleet insurance and compliance.
- Strong communication, organization, and CRM skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
Preferred:
- Experience recruiting for moving, logistics, or last-mile delivery roles.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Greenhouse, or similar recruiting tools.
